Corporate Identity & Packaging - Der Förthof Hotel & Winery
For the Kastner agency, I developed this great project for a boutique hotel & winery located in Austria. The challenge was to create the brand identity while keeping in mind that the future hotel has a story to tell. An old historical building alongside a contemporary, new construction. The briefing was to reflect that past and find a point of union between the modern idea of the new building and its incredible story.

"When you create a brand, you need to create a story. Except if you already have one. Because behind these walls there are centuries of them".

Isotype inspiration: "Our history goes back to 1220 when Der Förthof building was built by Danube Ferryman Walchun von Stein and his son Rapoto . In its later years, it was owned by nobles and the Church and only after many centuries was the building handed over to Der Förthof community. The villagers decided to unite and work together for a more prosperous future. They drew up a document with the bases of their collaboration and kept it in a chest that could only be opened with 3 keys. This story is a fundamental pillar for our main symbol.

Claim: Der Förthof is the perfect place to discover true Glückseligkeit.
Glückseligkeit (Felicity) is a specific state of mind, where we are consciously aware and grateful for the good things in our lives, where we feel good and fulfilled.
The famous community chest of Der Förthof could only be opened by 3 keys. Today it also needs 3 keys to open up the world of Der Förthof, the world of true Glückseligkeit: Pure indulgence - Unique experiences - True sense of well-being
We call it: 3 SCHLÜSSEL ZUR GLÜCKSELIGKEIT. 3 KEYS TO FELICITY.

I ended up creating an entire brand identity that I have developed step by step. From the logotype, colors, fonts, patterns and icons to the visual system, labelling, packaging, brand manual, and more.
